Why is money important to you (or not)? What are your goals in life? What brings you happiness? If you've never done it before, today would be a good moment to stop and reflect on your own self.

(If this is the first thing you're reading this morning, take time to wake up and come back later. This requires some self-inspection and it's better done when fully aware. I'll wait.)

Relax and think about it for a moment. Whether you have a clear answer to these questions or not, starting a reflexion will help you find your ultimate goal and focus on it.

6 reasons to save money goes into some ideas for how money can be important, but you should find the ones that apply to you, as your situation is unique. It's important that you find your own answers. Once that's done, you'll have a better idea of who you want to be in the future.

Remember though, money is nothing but a tool. With it, you can gain control of our most precious resource in life, time. Time that you can then spend living your best life, rather than slaving away because you need to pay your bills. How can you achieve that life if you have no idea what it looks like?

So take a pen and paper and start writing down what YOU want your life to look like. By realizing that you have more control than you think, you'll start taking control of your life one bit at a time.
